Kent Van Arnam Opens Up About Using the Original Barrel Replacement at VanArnam Vineyards
In 2007, after years of research to find the ideal place to grow fabulous wine grapes, Kent Van Arnam and his wife Allison found the perfect spot in Zillah in the Yakima Valley of Washington on 40 acres of fruit orchards. Kent and his trusty tractor took out over 6,500 fruit trees and prepared the soil for grapes. With the help of family and friends, they planted their first Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard. He likes to say "Our vineyards grow on a southern slope of perfect soils for premium wine grapes. The winery rests on the top of a hill overlooking the vineyard and the Yakima Valley with views of both Mt Adams and Mt Rainer. We think our grapes like the views as much as we do." With a focus on making the highest quality wines, their size allows them to be hands-on every step of the way... from nurturing vineyards, picking the grapes at harvest and through all the winemaking in Flextanks in the winery. Kent found Flextanks right away and has been using them in his winemaking

Our most popular bins for grape transportation are the Versa Bins which include stacking lids for stacking bins 2-3 high for transportation. Phase #2 Sorting Out the MOG After receiving the fruit at the winery the next important step is sorting out the “MOG” (mate
