In 2007, after years of research to find the ideal place to grow fabulous wine grapes, Kent Van Arnam and his wife Allison found the perfect spot in Zillah in the Yakima Valley of Washington on 40 acres of fruit orchards. Kent and his trusty tractor took out over 6,500 fruit trees and prepared the soil for grapes. With the help of family and friends, they planted their first Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard.
