Blended Raises $2.5M to Modernize Winery Operations

We're thrilled to announce that Blended has raised a $2.5 million Seed round to transform how wineries manage production, from vineyard to bottle.

The round was led by Bienville Capital Management, whose support affirms our vision: to build the next generation of winery operations software. With Blended, teams spend less time buried in data entry and more time making informed decisions in real time, ultimately running smarter, more efficient businesses.

Since launching in 2022, we’ve been on a mission to reimagine production management for modern wineries. Blended is designed to be the most flexible, intuitive platform on the market—adapting to how you make wine, not the other way around. By combining thoughtful design with the latest technologies like AI, we help teams replace spreadsheets, notebooks, and legacy software once and for all. From work orders and lab analysis to costing and case goods, Blended keeps everyone aligned and moving forward.

With this funding, we’re excited to:

  • Expand our engineering and product teams

  • Accelerate the development of Barry, our AI assistant for winemaking operations

  • Scale customer success as we support a fast-growing network of wineries across North America

The day-to-day operations and management of  CD & Power is headed by Lisa Carter who focuses her considerable effort on building a team of generator experts to offer generator sales, installation, service, repair, maintenance and parts for industrial users throughout Northern California.

How We Got Started

CD & Power was established in 1985 by Chuck Uischner, [who is best known as “The Big Tall Bald Guy”]. Chuck would fix all kinds of industrial engines and equipment during the day, and then do books at night. Back in those days, the generator and engine parts department consisted of a small desk and a shelf. Chuck expanded his generator and engine repair business by taking chances, and surrounding himself with motivated people.

In 2013 Chuck transitioned ownership to his daughter, Jill Collaro as President, and his son Donald Uischner as Vice President. Now in our 30th year, CD & Power continues to be a family-run operation with a close-knit network of employees. Under Jill’s able leadership the company earned certification from the State of California as a WBE or Woman-Owned Business Enterprise.
