June Harvest Checklist: Non-Perishable Supplies, Hoses & Fittings
Late spring/early summer is a great time to order any non-perishable supplies that you'll need for harvest, including oak products (barrels, staves, cubes, chips) and tannins for both fermentation and finishing.
Now is also a good time to run QC on your hoses and cellar tools, checking for any leaks or other damage.
Pro tip from our team: while purchasing one 100-ft. long hose is more cost effective than purchasing three 33-ft. long hoses, shorter hoses are much more versatile and will give you more options for use.
