Wineshipping and 24 Seven Combine to Provide Overnight Ground Delivery for Wine Industry

Napa, Calif. – Wineshipping and 24 Seven Enterprises which includes Pack n’ Ship Direct and Vin-Go, all industry leaders in direct to consumer (DTC) wine fulfillment solutions, today announced the completion of a business combination. The combined entity will be part of Wineshipping’s parent, DTC Logistics, and creates the nation’s largest alcohol beverage DTC logistics provider

The new venture is a perfect fit combining complementary capabilities and expertise into a best-in-class partner providing DTC solutions to wine producers, retailers, e-commerce and wholesale companies. Through a combined national network of temperature-controlled locations in every region of the country, the new enterprise will have the capability to serve consumers with same-day delivery to major metropolitan areas and one to two-day ground delivery to all other locations.

Eric Lewis, who joined Wineshipping in January 2020 from recent executive positions at Amazon, Google and Casper, will continue in his role as Chief Executive Officer of DTC Logistics headquartered in Napa, CA.

“DTC Logistics will drive more winery and e-commerce sales with same day and overnight delivery. By offering the delivery standards that consumers have come to expect, we predict that customers will adapt their beverage alcohol buying behaviors, purchasing more products, more often,” said CEO, Eric Lewis.

“Today, more than 50% of most product categories are purchased online and delivered directly to the consumer. Wineshipping, LLC - How We Are Responding to Covid-19

In the wake of the COVID-19 virus, our highest priority is to do our part to help ensure the health and safety of our employees, customers, and suppliers while meeting our service commitments.

Wineshipping continues to closely follow the Covid-19 outbreak and has a plan in place to protect the well-being of the Wineshipping team, as well as managing business continuity and communication with our clients. Wineshipping’s operations team is monitoring, daily, our transportation and other vendor partners’ operations, local health department updates in each of our locations, as well as the CDC and national updates to modify our response as necessary.

We are currently operating at normal levels. The impact to our shipping partners and suppliers has been minimal. This could change quickly as the situation continues to evolve.

Wineshipping’s plan will modify as events unfold and be updated to reflect changes based on the possible scenarios at each of our locations in accordance with the local health department and CDC.

Changes to our operational capacity, as a result of Covid-19, will be promptly communicated to our customers.

Wineshipping, LLC and Vintners Logistics LLC Announce Joint Venture

Napa, Calif. – Napa Valley-based Wineshipping, LLC and Kennewick, WA-based Vintners Logistics LLC have announced a joint venture to be known as Vintners Direct. Based out of Vintners Logistics’ warehouse in Kennewick, in the heart of Washington wine country, Vintners Direct will provide Washington wineries greater access to national and local direct to consumer (DTC) fulfillment services. Vintners Direct will begin taking customer DTC fulfillment orders April 1, 2020.

Former Amazon and Google Express Executive Takes Helm as Company Prepares for Continued Development in e-Commerce

Napa, Calif. — Wineshipping, LLC, a leader in direct to consumer (DTC) fulfillment solutions, has appointed Eric Lewis to the role of Chief Executive Officer. Lewis comes to the position with extensive logistics, supply chain, e-commerce and operations management experience, including roles at Amazon and Google Express. Reporting to Board of Directors, Lewis takes the helm of Wineshipping, LLC starting January 20, 2020.

Lewis comes to Wineshipping, LLC with an impressive history of solid results in startups, turnarounds and scaling businesses, both nationally and internationally. Most recently he was Senior Vice President of Global Operations at the mattress startup Casper. Prior to that he served as Head of Regional Operations for Google’s west coast division of Google Express, where he managed ground floor development of the company’s rapid growth, direct to consumer business that provides retailers with an e-commerce platform coupled with same-day and overnight delivery. He also spent three years at Amazon as General Manager-North American Fulfillment, where he was responsible for all aspects of green-field start-up and ongoing operation of Amazon’s first e-commerce fulfillment operations in California. Lewis also held key management and operations roles at SharkNinja, Black & Decker and Dana Corporation.

WineShipping Offering Assistance to Kincade Fire Victims

OWS and parent company Wineshipping will be reserving space on California Southbound trucks for aid to the Northern California communities affected by the wildfires and blackouts

OWS and our parent company Wineshipping will be reserving space on our California Southbound trucks for the coming weeks to help send aid to the communities in Northern California affected by the wildfires and black outs. We have contacted a number of charitable organizations and they have provided us a list of items most needed. If you would like to help, please deliver any items to either of our warehouses and we will deliver them directly to the charities who need them most. In addition, we will make a cash contribution to match yours. For every item donated, we will donate $2 directly to the aid organizations.

If you have any questions or challenges delivering to us, please call us directly at 503-474-9800. We are happy to help with pickups at your location if needed.

We will be delivering to the Petaluma Peoples Center and the Mary Issak Center. Here is a list of needed items:

We will also make deliveries to the Redwood Empire Food Bank. Most needed are:
Tuna and canned meat, peanut butter, canned soups, chili, stews, cereal, canned fruits, canned veggies, high protein bars and trail mix. Please no glass, perishables or open items.
