Trinity Engineering was founded in 1980 by Bruce Omholt. In 1964 Omholt received his BSME while living in San Francisco. Omholt gained considerable design and manufacturing experience during the next sixteen years while working for Repco Engineering Inc., Ford Motor Company, EF Hauserman Company and American Seating Company.

Omholt wanted to bring together people with multiple skillspeople who were not just cutters or welders, but who were capable of seeing projects as a whole. Thus, Trinity was started in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in 1980 and moved to Rohnert Park, California, in 1981.

Trinity currently employs eighteen skilled engineers, designers, cabinet makers, painters, glass workers and metal workers. Our services have been used in contract furniture, interior lighting and manufacturing. Over the last twenty years, we have focused on custom fixtures for the retail merchandising market.

Trinity Engineering is located in an 18,000 square foot plant located in Rohnert Park, California. The team at Trinity is capable of engineering and building anything that can be imagined. Because we work across many disciplines, Trinity is capable of solving any design issue prior to fabrication. We work with a wide array of materials including wood, metal, glass, acrylic, fiberglass, foam, extrusions, laminates, veneers and solid surfacing materials.

Trinity Engineering is a single source of design, engineering and fabricationworking with a cross section of materials and manufacturing processes. It is a source that will take the responsibility of providing a completed end product.

La Crema Estate Millwork Done by Trinity Engineering
05 December, 2016

‘Pictured here is a look at the newly opened tasting room for La Crema Estate at Saralee’s Vineyard, located in the heart of the Russian River Valley. Trinity was fortunate enough to be contracted by Bruce Tucker Construction of Napa CA, to provide the specialty millwork items for this remarkable renovation to Richard and Saralee Kunde’s former residence, that was in fact built over 100 years ago originally as a barn. Trinity’s work includes a full Tasting Bar at the lower level, a mobile Tasting Bar on the mezzanine, many various wine displays, retail presentation areas and the full sales counter. All millwork items were developed through the concerted efforts of the Jackson Family Wine team and Brayton Hughes Design Studio of San Francisco.’

What's the environmental footprint of your winery & tasting room?
22 April, 2014

As a manufacturing company, Trinity Engineering is committed to minimizing its environmental footprint. We currently recycle ninety percent of our production waste stream including wood, plastics, and metal. A few other things we have done include converting our entire facility to energy efficient lighting, saving an estimated 40,000 kilowatt hour annually and utilizing water-based, low VOC finishes which are proven to out-perform all national and regional VOC requirements and are registered for LEED credits.

Below are a couple of examples of how we've created a smaller footprint wineries.
