The Burkert Cloud – Wireless capabilities with 24-7 access to all statistical information right at your fingertips.
12 February, 2013

The Bürkert Cloud is one of the latest innovations from Bürkert. If you are currently using Burkert Sensors or are considering buying our sensors, adding the Burkert Cloud will give you access to data from your Bürkert Sensors, accessible 24/7 anywhere you have access to the internet.

Using the new Bürkert mxConnect , we can take any 4 to 20 milliamp, zero to 10 volt, or Digital Signal and transmit that data to our Secure Cloud Servers.

This Data is then available to you on your personally configured MyBurkert Website. There you can read current conditions, produce graphical data, download previous log data, and even set alarm point notifications via email and SMS messaging.

It can do all this in a simple plug and play format to you, with no IT setup needed on your end. We handle it all, from Sensors to Statistics.

Also, the expansion of the system is easy, with no need to run additional cabling from the sensors to the mxConnect box with the use of our uMesh expansion modules. The uMesh expansion modules communicate your data wirelessly to your mxConnect unit.

All of these are preconfigured at Bürkert to create a custom solution specifically for your application. With full IT support and web data hosting available from Bürkert – the Burkert Cloud gives you 24-7 access to all statistical information right at your fingertips.

Burkert ELEMENT Valves, Sensors and Controllers
16 October, 2012

The Burkert ELEMENT line of Valves, Sensors and Controllers offer a cleaner environment for hygienic processes. The ELEMENT line is reliable in the control of fluids including steam, corrosive solvents and chemicals or abrasive fluids such as slurries in a wide variety of applications. They combine the desirable characteristics of engineered polymers with highly washable endurance of stainless steel. There are no coatings, pockets or external pneumatic lines to hinder cleanliness and valves are delivered with bright visual feedback via signal LEDs or a backlit graphic display.

Factory floor communications and status monitoring is available via simple 4-20mA or a range of digital protocols. ELEMENT valves and sensors can also be linked to the enterprise via Burkert’s AirLINE bus interface system. The flexible modularity of the different valve, sensor and control components allows for an easy replacement or upgrade as process needs change, while maintaining full compatibility of all process hardware.
