New Active Dry Wine Yeast for White Wine
04 January, 2013
Mauri Yeast and Pacific Coast Chemicals would like to introduce a unique Active Dry Wine Yeast selected for its ability to enhance the aromas of white wines. Maurivin UOA MaxiThiol is a novel strain developed by the Wine Science Group at the University of Auckland. New Zealand and will be available in 2013. UOA MaxiThiol is a good fermenter at cooler temperatures (54-59 degrees F). This yeast is a moderate user of nitrogen and displays a good alcohol tolerance in the range 14-15% (v/v).
